Fire / EMS / Emergency Management

Responsibilities

The City of Brady Fire / EMS Department is responsible for providing an efficient and effective delivery of fire, medical, rescue, and life safety emergency services for the City of Brady and McCulloch County. Emergency services are delivered from the Fire / EMS station located at 216 West Commerce Street.

The Fire / Emergency Management Department also strives to improve the quality of life for City and County residents by providing public education, code enforcement, and ongoing training for firefighters.

Goals

The primary goals of the Fire Department are to:

  • Reduce and prevent the loss of life and property damage
  • Improve the outcome of patients
  • Quickly rescue trapped victims
  • Protect the environment from destruction

Emergency Management

Responsibilities of the Emergency management Department are to create and maintain an Emergency Management Plan for the City of Brady and McCulloch County. We provide education and training to deal with hazards that affect our community. Our goal is to provide the best preparation, mitigation, and overall safety for citizens of our city and county.
