Electric Power
The City of Brady owns and operates the electric distribution system for the city's electric needs. Historically, the City has been successful in pricing electric rates competitively compared to outside market rates, while still operating within the City's fiscal goals. Consequently, the City of Brady's personal property taxes are among the lowest in Texas.
The Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) is the City's wholesale electric provider.
